Hana Galal has guided airport sustainability for seven years. She is currently the Manager of Corporate Strategy & Sustainability at Edmonton International Airport in Alberta, Canada. She leads the 25-year Infrastructure Master Plan and supports five-year Strategic Planning with the executive and leadership teams. Additionally, Hana developed and now manages the Corporate Sustainability Strategy which includes sustainability communications, economic impact studies, energy and carbon program development and employee inclusion planning.
Hana has over 10 years of experience in sustainability research and management. She completed her Masters thesis in Sustainable Infrastructure Decision-making at the University of British Columbia, Canada. Over her sustainability career she has work experience with Fraport and the United Nations University in Germany and the City of Vancouver and University of Victoria in Canada.
